Your owner's manual will specify intervals for flushing and refill. While you're changing your fluid, it is a great idea to replace your drain and fill plugs. When doing the service make sure to note that the fluids are different and need to go in different places of the rear differential.

The Transfer case oil will go into where the diff says ATF which should be on the driver side and the Axle oil fill location will be on the opposite side of the differential. When doing this service a suction pump will be extremely helpful see ES3184224.

This kit is a full service kit to maintain your differential. If you notice fluid leaking from your axle seals see ES3196094 for replacement axle flange seals.
