The rear differential is responsible for the sending power to the rear wheels on your AWD vehicle. Overtime, the material inside the rear differential can wear down causing metal debris to collect in the gear oil. It is important to service your rear differential to maintain a healthy AWD system. We recommend performing the rear differential service every 40,000 - 50,000 miles.
