The ALH Timing Belt tool set is a must have for any ALH timing belt replacement. This ALH engine specific kit includes all the pieces to lock the timing components in place, disassemble and reassemble the timing belt system. TDI engines are very sensitive to timing changes, so "guess and check" or "white paint marking" to keep timing is not sufficient and may cause engine damage.
