The corrugated turbo inlet hose found in the OEM air intake system was not designed for performance or modifications. It was designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet hose can start to show its weaknesses when suction from the turbocharger is increased.

The ECS Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose for the VW 2018+ Tiguan MQB was designed in-house with a high-quality 4-ply reinforced construction to provide a strong but flexible structure and secure fit. Smooth bends and internal walls with a counterbored outlet provides unimpeded airflow, while the smooth, gloss black exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.

Counterbored on the turbo inlet hard pipe side for the smoothest transition possible
Gradual taper from the larger diameter of the airbox outlet to the smaller diameter of the turbo inlet hard pipe
Includes smooth-band, German-style stainless steel hose clamps
Designed to resist oil and fuel degradation and tested up to continuous 250° Fahrenheit operating temperature

Our ECS Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
