IS YOUR STOCK INLET ROBBING POWER?
The factory installed plastic turbo inlet found installed on your VW or Audi Gen 3 1.8T or 2.0T TSI engine is adequate enough for stock cars with factory hardware and ECU calibrations. However, the necked down design becomes a major flow restriction when ran with power upgrades such as cold air intakes, intercoolers, downpipes, and ECU upgrades.

The IE Turbo Inlet Pipe helps you to get the most out of your IS38 or IS20 turbo and power upgrades by removing the factory flow restriction. The cast aluminum design allows for a constant diameter elbow increasing efficiency from the intake to the turbo without the bottleneck design of the factory unit.

EASY INSTALLATION
Your new turbo inlet pipe has been in-house CNC machined and includes all required hardware to allow for a perfect and easy installation. View and download the install guide here (coming soon).
REQUIRES AFTERMARKET INTAKE
Due to the larger size of your new inlet pipe, this must be installed with an aftermarket intake. A new silicone adapter is supplied to be a direct fit with a IE Cold Air Intake, or most 3 inch cold air intakes.
Does not work with the DV+ Diverter Valve or Diverter Valve spacers.

Best inlet
I had another brand and it kept rocking from the turbo opening causing the intake to rattle. I recently got the IE inlet and it got rid of the shaking and rattling also the intake noises sound more aggressive compared to the other brand inlet

Turbo Inlet Pipe
Product quality is great. That said, the hole/thread designated for bolting back to the turbo had no threads and the OEM bolt just spun without actually tightening down the Pipe to the Turbo. Had to put out a thread tapping kit to thread it and use a bolt from my own collection. Not sure if I just got unlucky or that's standard, but the IE install instructions said to use factory bolt again, so I'm guessing I got a flawed part. Would have been in a pretty rough situation had a friend not had a tapping kit on hand to fix the issue. Otherwise, super happy with the product.

Significant improvement over stock!
Paired this with IE's V.2 CAI and couldn't be happier. Build quality is some of the best I've seen! This inlet pipe reduced my turbo lag significantly on my 7.5R 6MT. There used to be a bit of a delay for boost in between gear shifts, this solved that! Easy to install

Quality product, superb fit and finish. Paired with the IE V2 intake it makes an incredible difference in sound and increased throttle response.

Clean and simple
I installed this product myself in about an hour. I could do it again in less time then that now that I know what I am doing. Definitely a great product and when paired with the IE Intake the turbo and intake noise is amazing. Only down side was the oring broke when installing so I had to run out and get a new one. It was probably my fault as I was "forcing the TIP in " but also maybe it's just a really small oring
