The VWR R-06 is more than just a stylish upgrade – it’s engineered for performance. Using advanced flow-forming technology, the aluminium barrel is spun under heat and pressure, refining its grain structure. The result is a wheel that’s both lighter and stronger than traditional cast alloys, improving handling, acceleration and efficiency without compromising durability.
At just 9.9kg (21.3lbs) per wheel, the R-06 delivers meaningful weight savings while retaining the strength to withstand demanding road or track use. Developed and tested to exceed OEM standards, every wheel is certified for impact resistance, fatigue strength, and a maximum load capacity of 560kg.
Perfectly sized at 8.5 x 18” ET44 with a 5x112 PCD, the R-06 offers precise fitment across VWG MQB, MQB EVO and A5 platforms. The 18” diameter is ideal for performance tyres, allowing a squarer sidewall profile for sharper turn-in and improved clearance on track.
