This is a Private Label kit built by Clutch Masters exclusively for Ringer Racing
Ringer Racing break-in procedure for OZ and ZZ clutch kits (Stage 3 thru Stage 5+)
Plenty of city driving using the clutch, so shifting thru the gears.
Part throttle 1 st gear, once in 2 nd gear or in 3 rd gear above 3k rpm you can go WOT running out the gears to redline.
Doing hard pulls will help burn off the protective clear coating that is on the Cerametalic material on the disk.
Once the clear coating wears off the material and then the disk material will get bedded in.
No hard pulls starting in 4th gear or higher and no launching the car for the first 600-1000 miles.
There will be some clutch chatter while slipping the clutch in 1 st gear or reverse, this is caused by the clear coating.
As the clear coating wears the chatter will start to fade to the point that there shouldn’t be any or much chatter at all.
23LB Steel Flywheel Must use the ARP non-stretch Bolts!!

Torque Rating at the Flywheel
- Stage 3 - 485 ft lbs
- Stage 3+ - 530 ft lbs
- Stage 4 - 620 ft lbs
- Stage 5 - 680 ft lbs
Hydraulic options:
- Bleeder block and line kit - For use with OEM style bearings only, not needed for CM bearing kit below
- Clutch Masters Hydraulic throw-out bearing kit
Hardware torque specs - Dab of loctite on all
10.9 or ARP flywheel bolts - 45 ft lb, 65 lb and then finish at 85 ft lb
Pressure plate bolts - 25 ft lb
