This second upgrade turbocharger step optimizes the factory turbocharger for greater flow and power. Fitted with an even larger, proven TTE billet compressor and 9-blade turbine, this turbo is designed for power!
An upgraded aftermarket intercooler, intake system, downpipe, sports cat, and full exhaust system are recommended for max performance.
Precisely balancing turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieve TTE’s balance standards. First, parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using TTE’s single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced. Some applications are balanced up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using TTE’s in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test result document.
