034Motorsport's 3.0 TFSI (Simos 16) Performance Software was developed entirely in-house on a 2016 Audi A6 3.0 TFSI. The calibrations were then refined on multiple enthusiast-owned vehicles before release.

Simos 16 Compatibility:

This software is for use on Simos 16 equipped vehicles and will not work on vehicles equipped with the factory locked supercharger with a slip-on supercharger pulley (CAKA Engine Code). We advise customers, especially RoW, that if you are unsure of your engine code, please inspect your supercharger pulley. If your upper supercharger pulley is attached with 4 bolts, this software will work for you. If you have a slip-on supercharger pulley, this software will not work for you. **Some octane variants are fully developed but have not yet undergone our dyno data colection process and as such the peak increases and power numbers are not yet listed, but you can expect similar gains to the difference of the octanes we have provided the full data collection and dyno information for.

***All octane ratings are in US standard AKI (RON+MON). Some ROW countries such as the UK use a RON octane rating that differs from US Octane ratings. Please email tuning@034motorsport.com to ensure you are running the correct octane file for your area. Running the incorrect octane file for your fuel can result in irreversible damage.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT SAFETY STRATEGIES:

With increased power, comes increased heat. With increased heat, comes the need for additional management. For charge air temperature, 034Motorsport has implemented key safety features to keep your engine running optimally and safely in virtually any condition - just like the OEM calibration. Substantial effort was spent on balancing the trade off of charge temp for power, and improving the compressor efficiency so that it doesn't generate too much charge temp.

Charge Air Temp: When the charge temp exceeds 80*C there is a reduction in power output. When the charge temp exceeds 85*C there is a more significant reduction in power output. This charge temp limitation is there to prevent knock events, which can severely damage a motor. With these safety measures in place, you can confidently drive your car, from the top of Pikes Peak to Death Valley, knowing the factory ECU has optimal performance and safety covered.

Coolant Temp/Fan Strategy: From the factory, Audi likes to run hotter water temps to reduce fluid friction losses from cooler, more viscous oil. While better for efficiency, this strategy becomes a safety issue when loads and heat are increased. 034Motorsport calibrators have rescaled the coolant temperature targets and fan control strategies to target lower coolant temperatures when in higher heat conditions, allowing the car to run within a safe heat range rescaled for the added heat that comes from tuning the engine. Once again, this means that 034Motorsport calibrators have kept your confidence in safety fully intact from the OEM configuration.

FUEL SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION:

While E85 provides substantial increases in power, it requires about 30% more fuel than standard pump gasoline per ignition cycle. Utilizing a variety of fuel stratified injection strategies, 034Motorsport calibrators have further optimized the factory fueling system to be able to adequately support full E85 on factory hardware for Stage 1, 2, & 2+.

AL551 8-Speed ZF8 TCU Tune Features

Flashed directly through your vehicle’s OBD-II port, 034Motorsport’s proprietary calibrations for the AL551 TCU safely and effectively optimize its operation for Stage 1 or Stage 2 Dynamic+ Performance ECU Software. The AL551 8-Speed ZF8 transmission is found in the Audi C7.5 A6/A7, and D4 A8. 034Motorsport Performance ZF8 Software also increases the shift speed and optimizes the shift points in Drive and Sport modes for better performance and driveability. The result is a noticeable improvement in acceleration, without any sacrifice in comfort or reliability..
