With the constant and excessive pressure in the clutch line needed to properly operate the clutch, the factory plastic bleeder block can be prone to failure or inconsistent pressure hold. The fluctuation can lead to premature failure or an inapt clutch pedal feel.

In addition to the operating limitations and shortcomings of a plastic clutch bleeder, the factory drain fitting is also significantly smaller than the clutch line's flow of fluid, making it quite a lengthy task to bleed the line.
