WCT Performance Kits & Parts in Canada

Some of the most useful things we sell don't come from a supplier's catalog — we build them. The WCT Performance brand is our own label: the kits and parts we assemble, spec and stand behind ourselves, starting with the oil service kits that have become the store's signature maintenance product. Each kit pairs the correct Liqui Moly or Motul oil for the application with the right filter and hardware for the car — one box, no parts-counter guesswork, no piecing it together from three listings.

The numbers say Canadian owners agree: 1,843 orders carried a WCT-branded product in the last 24 months. The Liqui Moly Leichtlauf 5W-40 service kit for the MK7 family is the biggest single kit we sell (452 kits), with the Top Tec 6200 0W-20 kits for MK7.5 and MK8 cars and the MolyGen kits close behind. Beyond oil, the label covers our aluminum Street Shield skid plate kit for the MK7–MK8 Golf family — the answer to Ontario winters and Ontario potholes — and our MK8 PCV retrofit kit for the earlier Gen 3 cars, a fix we put together because the factory part's failure mode deserved one.

Buying WCT Performance parts.

These are our products, so the buck stops with us: every kit is listed by exact application, priced in Canadian dollars, and shipped from our Markham store — free shipping on most orders over $399, and GTA pickup at Unit 5, 151 Amber St once your ready-for-pickup email arrives. Not sure which oil spec your car takes — 502, 504 or 508? That's the entire point of the kits, and it's a ten-second question at 905-604-7077 or sales@wctperformance.ca. We're rated 4.9 stars from 427 Google reviews, most of them from people who bought exactly these.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What's in an oil service kit that I can't just buy separately?

A: The right oil in the right quantity for your engine, the correct filter, and the small hardware the job needs — matched as one SKU so there's no wrong-spec or missing-piece risk. It's the same parts, minus the homework.

Q: Which oil spec does my car need?

A: MK7-era cars typically take a 502/505 or 504/507 oil; MK8 and late MK7.5 cars call for 508.00/509.00 (0W-20). Each kit is titled by application — and if you're between specs, ask us with your year and engine before you order.

Q: Is the skid plate worth it on a daily?

A: On a lowered or winter-driven Golf in Ontario, yes — the factory belly pan is plastic, and the oil pan behind it isn't forgiving. The Street Shield is the part we sell to people who've already met one ice ridge.
